April 13th 2020 was a busy night for the Asheville Police Department. APD first put out a public alert that a group planned on protesting the death of Daunte Wright. The groups flyers were in Antifa fashion and asked people to “get angry.” Skyline has learned approximately tweenty protestors showed up at the Vance Moment.

Sources tell Skyline the group did have frozen water bottles and something that “looked to be a lock or something with weight in a sock carried by a couple of people.” The group then chanted and instigated civil unrest.
