The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office reported this morning the loss of one of their Deputies.

K9 Sampson retired from the Sheriff’s Office in November 2019 at the age of 10 after serving the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office since 2014 with his handler Deputy Stanley Murray.
